Bama Bed and Breakfast

History

Built in 1823. Located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Cornelia McCalla (Miss Nela) inherited the house from her father. Miss Nela was married to a man named Mitchell Neely Pride (Neely). They named the property, “Pridehaven.” They had twin girls named Virginia and Margaret.

The property is currently a bed and breakfast owned by Bama Vacation Rentals and Bed & Breakfast.

Spirits of Drish

The spirits of Cornelia McCalla (Miss Nela) and Mitchell Pride (Neely), are believed to reside in the home.

The apparition of a young boy has been spotted in the kitchen by a staff member.

Two investigators heard a male voice in the parlor during an EVP session.

One investigator heard a music box playing upstairs in the Bama room. He could not find a music box playing anywhere.

Two investigators heard a voice coming from the downstairs hallway. A female voice was captured on audio in response to the investigators. (EVP below)
